Miljonline Ltd was founded by the Internet entrepreneur Torbjorn Wallin in year 2010. The idea was to pick up and make use of digital business opportunities that appeared in different Internet related projects where Torbjorn was active. Before this, between year 1999 and 2004, Torbjorn started and run the company Occident together with a friend, Richard Osterlind who he studied with at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.
At Occident they developed business use for their customers based on web technology. Among the customers were Microsoft, Dell Computer, Telenor and Bristol Myers- Squibb. During many years Torbjorn was leading teams active within e-commerce, CRM, business intelligence, web traffic analysis, digital marketing, SEO, SEM and digital product development for companies like Volvo Cars, Statoil, HSBC bank and the online gaming companies Ongame and bwin.
During some important years Torbjorn supported the media conglomerate Bonnier (the B2B business area) in its digital transformation where their challenge was to move business, revenue and profits from traditional to digital media.
Today Miljonline’s business is managed under the company Miljönline AB.
